Dog Daycare Terms and Conditions.
I (the owner) certify to CANINE CAPITAL that I am the legal owner/guardian of my dog; that my dog is in good health and has not been ill with any contagious disease or communicable condition in the last thirty (30) days and that my dog has received all necessary vaccinations.
I further certify that my dog has not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behaviour towards any person or any other dog.
I understand that CANINE CAPITAL is an open daycare centre and I agree that my dog will socialise and play with other dogs during their attendance; I accept the risks involved and agree that CANINE CAPITAL is not liable for any injuries or illnesses arising during my dog's attendance.
I have read and understand the following:
I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm or damages caused by my dog/s whilst attending the CANINE CAPITAL DOG DAYCARE (“centre”). I agree that CANINE CAPITAL is not liable for any damages, illnesses, or injuries caused by my dog/s.
I understand and agree that CANINE CAPITAL and its staff and volunteers will not be liable for any problems or issues that develop, provided that reasonable care and precautions are followed, and I hereby release them of any liability of any kind arising from my dog’s attendance and participation at the centre.
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and you should provide proof of updates yearly. Puppies that have had their second vaccination are able to attend Dog Daycare, however there is a risk that they may be more susceptible to contract a contagious disease or communicable condition. If your dog is sick or shows signs of sickness they should not attend dog daycare for the safety of the other dogs there. If your dog is ill with a contagious disease or communicable condition they must remain at home until they have been cleared by a vet or have shown no signs or symptoms for at least a week (7 days). I understand that if my dog/s attends Dog Daycare at CANINE CAPITAL without being fully vaccinated, they may be susceptible to any contagious diseases or communicable conditions, and I agree that CANINE CAPITAL is not liable for any injuries or illnesses that may arise during or after their attendance of daycare at the centre.
It is essential that you provide a full and detailed description of any health or behavioural problems your dog has when filling out the “Enrollment Form”. It is important that CANINE CAPITAL is kept up to date on any developments in your dog's health and wellbeing so the CANINE CAPITAL can provide the best possible care for your dog.
CANINE CAPITAL recommends that your dog is on a regular treatment cycle for internal and external parasites (e.g. fleas and worms). If staff or volunteers at CANINE CAPITAL suspects that any dog has or is carrying internal or external parasites, they have the right to isolate the dog and they will be required to contact the owner/s for collection as soon as possible.
For safety, CANINE CAPITAL requires all dogs to wear flat collars with a name tag attached. Please ensure that your dog's collar has a quick release clip, not a buckle. Your dog must be on a lead and under control when entering or exiting CANINE CAPITAL.
I also understand and agree that if my dog/s exhibits any signs or symptoms of being unwell they will be immediately moved to a comfortable and isolated area until I, or an authorised contact person can retrieve them. Dogs that are isolated will be cared for with toilet breaks, clean drinking water, and if appropriate a chew/cuddly toy/s, but will not be allowed any contact with other dogs at the centre.
I understand that dogs that attend CANINE CAPITAL Dog Daycare should be spayed/neutered. Male dogs over nine (9) months of age should be neutered/fixed to attend CANINE CAPITAL DogDaycare, however some exceptions may be made with prior discussions (e.g breeding studs). For health and safety reasons we do not allow female dogs (bitches) on heat/in season, to attend dog daycare and ask that they be kept at home until their heat/in season period is over. If CANINE CAPITAL believes that your dog has behavioural problems earlier than 9 months old associated with not being neutered or spayed a staff member will be in touch with you to discuss options.
CANINE CAPITAL reserves the right to deny any dog to dog daycare. All dogs attending dog daycare need to meet minimum requirements for good manners and socialization. This is in order to provide a safe space for all the other dogs who attend. If staff or volunteers at CANINE CAPITAL deem your dog a risk to other dogs or people a staff member will contact you to figure out the best course of action for your dog at daycare. If staff or volunteers at CANINE CAPITAL deem that your dog poses an immediate risk of injury to other dogs or staff your dog will be isolated and may be muzzled. Behaviours that are considered of ill-manners include but are not limited to;
Often occurrence of snarling or snapping at other dogs
Consistent bearing/flashing of teeth
Pinning down other dogs in a non-playful manner
Not recognising or registering other dogs body language
Biting or attempting to bite another dog or a member of staff.
Shows multiple signs or stress - eg excessive salivation or panting
Excessive barking
Possessive behaviour
I understand that CANINE CAPITAL reserves the right to deny my dog/s entrance into CANINE CAPITAL for any reasons including but not limited to; signs of illness, injuries, aggression, or threatening behaviour towards any persons or other dogs as determined by CANINE CAPITAL.
Whilst at CANINE CAPITAL all care will be taken to ensure the health and safety of my dog. However please understand that dogs may incur the occasional muscle soreness, injury, or mild contagion. When you leave your dog in the care of CANINE CAPITAL you understand and acknowledge the possibility of this happening and accept that CANINE CAPITAL are not liable for any and all costs associated with these. I further understand and agree that dogs can sometimes receive injuries and/or be involved in dog fights in a group environment; any problems that develop at the centre will be treated as determined best by the staff and volunteers at CANINE CAPITAL, at their discretion and I also agree that I assume full financial responsibility of any and all expenses involved.
I authorise CANINE CAPITAL to provide, administer or seek first aid and resuscitative care at times determined appropriate by staff and volunteers at CANINE CAPITAL and I agree to compensate for harm or loss and not hold it against CANINE CAPITAL for all and any results.
I also authorise CANINE CAPITAL to seek emergency medical care to be provided by a veterinarian in case of emergency and I agree that I will reimburse CANINE CAPITAL for any and all charges related to emergency care. CANINE CAPITALs preferred vet is CareVets in Johnsonville.
